Shetland Pride AGM 2025
We are delighted to announce the Shetland Pride (SCIO) AGM will be held in the Staney Hill Hall at 7-10pm, on Sunday the 2nd of March, 2025.
This will be our fourth year, and we sincerely hope that people can make it along to hear what we have been up to, what we have planned for the coming year, and the different ways that you can get involved.
Shetland Pride takes a huge effort, and for it to be a success into the future, we can't so it without the help from the community. Whether that be making decisions on the committee, or coming along to volunteer during Pride, or even just giving us a like and share every now and again, your input is invaluable.
The event will also be live steamed on our facebook page, and questions can be submitted via our Facebook messenger or email addresses. More info on this nearer the time.

The Committee are pleased to announce that the Shetland Pride festival will be held on Saturday, the 14th of June this year.
The festival will follow the same format as previous years, including the Youth Party, as it was hailed a huge success by all who attended.

Drag Night: An Evening with Miss Lily Minogue and Victoria Pier
Sat, 21st September 2024. Mareel Auditorium. 8pm - 11pm. Tickets - £25. 18+ Seated event.
Come and join the Fabulous Miss Lily Minogue and Victoria Pier for a night of Drag at Mareel.
Lily has performed at all 3 Shetland Pride festivals. She is absolutely thrilled to be coming back up to perform at this event. Joining her for the evening will be the Miss Victoria Pier. Born and bred on the shores of Shetland, Victoria has done a few drag shows now, and is super excited to come home and show off a some new numbers she’s been working on!!
They will be putting together a night of drag, dance, comedy, and a whole lot more...

Valentines Party - Upstairs in Mareel Cafe/Bar.
Friday 16th Feb 2024, 7pm-10pm.
We're hosting a peerie Valentines get together next friday 16th February upstairs in the Mareel Cafe, 7pm-10pm. Wherever people wish to venture after that is up to themselves. :)
It's just meant to be a bit of fun! Couples, friends, allies, as well as all the single pringles out there, are welcome to come along.
We will start off with a valentines pub quiz around 7:30pm. You do not need to enter a team, as we'll allocate the teams when you get there. Obviously, if you have people you would rather be in a team with, we can accomodate that, but the aim of the game is to help people mingle and get to know each other a little better.
After, we will have a few other little games that people can play if they wish, but it is mainly gonig to be a time for socialising.

Shetland Pride (SCIO) is hosting its second annual general meeting on Wednesday, 24th January, at the Staney Hill Hall, Lerwick.
What to expect :)
A summary of Shetland Pride 23 - There has been a lot going on behind the scenes at Shetland Pride this year. Not only did we put on Shetland's second successful Pride event, there has been other ideas floating in the pipeline we can't wait to share with you.
Annual accounts update and Trustees annual report - An update on the financial spending and accounts of the charity.
Election of new committee - The annual reshuffle of the Board of Trustees. Some of the committee will be standing for election again, and some are intending to stand down due to other commitments. If you would like to join the Shetland Pride Team, please do get in touch.
Discover ways that YOU could get involved in Shetland Pride 24 - Come and listen to our ideas for Shetland Pride in 2024. We understood from the AGM last year that participation shouldn't have to come in the form of a massive committment. That's why we've broken down our plans into much more manageable chunks. Experience, ideas, a bit of encouragement, and joined up thinking is all that's usually needed to make ideas a reality!!
